Apostle Ralph G. Shammah Nichol
Apostle Nichol is the Senior Pastor and Overseer of Deliverance Evangelistic Center Family Church, (DEC Ministries) and a native son of Newark, New Jersey. Where he grew up and soon learned that life is choice driven. Making bad decisions as a young man brought many pitfalls his way including drug addiction and incarceration. Thankfully he eventually changed the kind of choices he was making and soon joined DEC Ministries under the founding Pastor, the late Arturo Skinner.
Apostle Nichol's youthful energies and boldness of character set the tone for the DEC family once he became the pastor a few years later. Where through street campaigns or in the pulpit, he is no nonsense minister who believes that men and women of God should do nothing in their personal lifestyles that distract from the Gospel. With over 35 years in ministry, he is known throughout the Eastern Seaboard as a man of integrity committed to God’s Word...
Nothing is more important to Pastor Nichol than family, his own -- and the family of God. A widower, he married his second blessing in the person of Lady Rosalind Nzinga Nichol in 2000. And since that time, it is his great pleasure to have her and five of his eight children and their families working with him at DEC, reaching new generations with THE POWER OF PENTECOST!

RIP Pastor Nichol
I extend my most deepest condolences to the Nichols' Family, DEC, Friends, and Love Ones. May the LORD grant us all the comfort and strenghth during this most solemn season. Moreover, I'm very much saddened by the lost of a man who became such a powerful force and voice of God for thousands of people in the mid 70's thru the Millennium. A man who received the mantel and mandate to succeed the Late Apostle Auturo Skinner at Deliverance Temple. As a young man growing up around DEC, it was an awe and wonder seeing God move through Apostle Nichols; notwithstanding, it was more of a blessing as I grew up in ministry and was privileged to have moments of private conversation with this mighty man of valour. Thank you Apostle Nichols for allowing me the opportunity to know the man and "the Man of God" in YOU! With much sympathy and grief, Dr. Mercury Thomas-Ha' (Kingdom of God Int'l Embassy, Tampa, FL / St. John's True Vision & Praise Int'l Ministries, Newark, NJ)
